Vygotsky Nepal successfully conducted its flagship “Know Your Child’s Brain” webinar in two separate phases this summer, bringing together parents, educators, and caregivers for a deeply engaging, science-informed exploration of child development.
Each phase of the program was structured as an intensive 5-day online course, designed to help adults understand the neuroscience behind children's emotions, behaviors, and learning patterns—while offering practical strategies to strengthen connection and reduce conflict at home.
The first phase ran from June 15th to 19th, drawing an enthusiastic group of parents eager to deepen their understanding of their children’s inner world. Each 1-hour live online session focused on a key theme: emotional regulation, brain development basics, mindful communication, handling challenging behaviors, and building secure attachment.
Participants praised the highly interactive format—complete with slides, Q&A, and real-life case discussions. Feedback highlighted how accessible and relatable the course was, empowering parents to apply what they learned immediately in daily life.
Due to overwhelming demand, Vygotsky Nepal launched Phase 2 from July 5th to 9th. This second batch welcomed new families and professionals who had missed the first round. The content remained true to its 5-day online format, but with even richer participant discussions and refined examples.
The live sessions fostered a strong sense of community and safe sharing among parents. Many participants shared breakthroughs in understanding their child's emotional needs and reported tangible improvements in their family dynamics within just days of applying the strategies.
Across both phases, the “Know Your Child’s Brain” webinar was a resounding success. With over 50 participants in total, making this one of Vygotsky Nepal’s most popular online offerings to date,
participants consistently highlighted:
The overwhelmingly positive feedback demonstrates a growing awareness among Nepali parents about the importance of brain-based, compassionate parenting. Vygotsky Nepal remains committed to offering these educational opportunities to help families build stronger, more mindful connections.
We thank everyone who joined us in both phases, and look forward to continuing this journey of learning and growth together.
